Itinerary:

  • – Tan/Pete, Adrienne arriving 2pm,
  • – Paul/Trace arrive 10am
  •  – then off to Van Gogh museum and chocolate factory
• 27/4
  • – Leonie arrives 10am
  • – (catch train)- trip to Zaanse Schans – windmills, clogs and cheese, stop at Zaandam funky architecture.
  • – Afternoon:
    • – canal tour
    • – pub for dinner
    • – check out red light district and smoke some dope (This was in Tan’s mind, she just did not get it onto paper) .
• 28/4
  • – Book a day trip to the Keukenhof gardens (tulip gardens). https://keukenhof.nl/en/# will be around $60 pp includes bus from Amsterdam and full day at the gardens.
  • – Croisi cruise begins, board at 6pm.

5. Dam Square – On the square you will find the amazing Royal Palace (image below) which is a brilliant destination in its own right, the National Monument that pays tribute to fallen soldiers, the Nieuwe Kerk church which often contains art exhibitions
6. Boat tour is apparently a must do as well.
